Our challenge winners are the Booty Blasters! Congratulations ladies. I think their results and enthusiasm speaks for itself. This is also the second time Dawn has taken down the team challenge so our hats are definitely off to you for inspiring women to be better every day.
Only time will tell. Go teams! Here are the amazing results from the 9 Booty Blaster members who ALL started and ALL finished the challenge and were there the entire 8 weeks in between. I have never seen such a strong group. They overcame some issues and fought through temptation and did some crazy intense workouts and lost fat and inches on top of that. I was truly proud to lead such an amazing group of women. My accomplishments…I am only down 1. Lost 3. Lost 8. I am so much better with it now.
This challenge I have really started to see some results and that has helped motivate me enough said. I decided during this 8 week challenge to go to Phat Camp!!!!
But most importantly……. A couple of weeks ago I was dealing with some major stress in my life and turned to food once again. THAT is an accomplishment in its own. I still had my MB , but I planned on it. Being a part of this challenge has changed something inside of me. Not only did I get to know some wonderful women, but I took more advantage of the site than I ever have. And I really have to thank some of you for that. So, for me….. I upped my sets in week 7 from 3 to 4 and holy moses that is painful.
Healthier eating and staying on plan. Exercising on a regular basis. Got my significant other on board to help me. Lost 2. Lost 3lbs.
I really think being accountable to a team helped me these last 2 weeks. When going through this stuff with my car, I was really tempted to go buy candy but if I did, I knew I would have to report it to the team. It really helped knowing that I was accountable to someone else for my eating too. Yes I realized it would hurt me but knew it would possibly hurt the team too. Only 1 of the 5 had started a running plan and started running in the Spring. The others mainly walk for fitness and were a little scared to attempt this.
I have not always stayed on plan during last last 8 weeks, but I was aware and that is a difference to me. I eat very healthy and know a lot about proper nutrition, but I love food and cooking. Keeping the portions where they should be for weight loss is always hard and I am still working on this end.
I have enjoyed the accountability of our team to keep me in line:. I continued my circuits during the challenge, but added more weight and power to the moves. I actually can see all the different muscles in my shoulders now and it is so cool.
I only started doing toe push ups in the spring, so I have come a long way with my upper body strength. It was not that long ago that I could not even lift my body weight off the floor once! I knocked out a 6 mile run in 60 m 2 weeks ago and could not believe how easy it came back. My body is more conditioned from the ST now. I actually have had the guys ask me what type of sport I train for because they are so impressed with the wicked circuits I pump out.
They joke that they could never begin to think about working out that hard! It is nice to get that kind of complement from someone else that is in there lifting heavy. I have enjoyed their journey as much as mine!
I thank each of my Booty Blaster teammates for their honesty, humor, enthusiasm, and spirit. You are a great bunch of ladies I tell ya. Les :. Completed cardio or more! Stayed accountable to my team through the whole 8 weeks. I fit in a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans and wore them out of the house!
Boys never notice this stuff, but these guys do! I absolutely was shocked when I looked in that mirror and could see a defined waist. I thought I might have one, but the other day I was brushing my teeth and that baby is starting to poke out a little. I have done it several weeks 4 days and one week 5 days. I am so proud of that and doing that and having the consistent exercise will get me the rest of the results I want to see. I promise you all have helped me more than you know.
Enough said! I love, love reading these wrap up posts. Each of you making life changing habits. Not all at once but each and everyday culimating in some awesome losses both inches and scale. Excellent job. I am so proud of all of you! Super accomplishments! Keep up the great work ladies! Congrats ladies…You guys look like a great team! Way to work hard and support each other!!!!!!!!!
